[Verse]
AmEm spend all your time waiting for that second chance GCD for a break that would make it ok AmEm there's always some reason to feel not good enough GCD and it's hard at the end of the day AmC i need some distraction, oh beautiful relief GD memories seep through my veins AmC that may be empty, oh weightless and maybe GAmD i'll find some peace tonight
[Chorus]
G in the arms of the angel Bm fly away from here C from this dark cold hotel room GD and the endlessness that you feel G you are pulled from the wreckage Bm of your silent reverie AmFC you're in the arms of the angel GDG may you fi-ind some comfort here
[Verse]
AmEm so tired of the straight lines, everywhere you turn GCD there' vultures and thieves at your back AmEm the storm keeps on twisting, keep on building the lies GCD that you make up for all that you lack AmC it don't make no difference, escape one last time GD it's easier to believe AmC in this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness GAmD brings me to my knees
[Chorus]
G in the arms of the angel Bm fly away from here C from this dark cold hotel room GD and the endlessness that you feel G you are pulled from the wreckage Bm of your silent reverie AmFC you're in the arms of the angel GDGBm may you fi-ind some comfort here AmFC you're in the arms of the angel GDG may you fi-ind some comfort here
