Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

This is pretty much the same that already exists, however the original uploader had the
chords in standard tuning. If you slap on a capo on the 4th fret here, the song becomes
quite easy to play. (All credit still goes to user nickavv).

Intro (upstrokes)
G E A D

G C G C G
Inside my mind there is a man, he's always bragging about his plans
C G C G
he says he's never gonna leave (I'm never gonna leave you alone)
C G C G
Despite my efforts to be free I'm his, and always I will be
C G C D
A day late a dollar short singing woah, woe is me

D C G C G C
And I know I have to but I don't know how
D C G C G C
And I know that he knows I can do without
D C D
And he knows that I need it so bad,
C
but then I realize it's clear that he knows that
D C
In the end, he'll never know what hides inside my..

G D C Am G D
Heaad, I don't wanna seem ungrateful
C Am G D C
I don't wanna seem like I don't need anyone's help
Am G D C Am
to get me through these rainy days, to push through the haze
G D C Am G D
so I can get on my feet and I can stand up and do what it takes

C C Am

Rest is played the same way:

Verse 2:

You heard his story now hear mine, I live inside a coward's mind
Where every dream I dream gets shot down all of the time
If I don't jump into the fray he'll mope around and waste the day
He's like a ton of concrete tied to me, tied around my waist

And he knows he has to but he doesn't know how
and he knows that I know he can do without
and I know that he needs it so bad,
but then I realize it's clear that he knows that
in the end, I'll never know what hides inside his..

Chorus:

Head, I don't wanna seem ungrateful
I don't wanna seem like I don't need anyone's help
to get me through these rainy days, to push through the haze
so I can get on my feet and I can stand up and do what it takes

Before verse 3, there's the intro harmonica riff played twice, so play the intro chords again:

G E A D x2

Verse 3:

And we know we have to but we don’t know how...
And we know they know what it’s all about
And they know that we need it so bad
But then we realize it’s clear that they know that
In the end, they’ll never know what hides inside our...head

Chorus again x2
