Well this is my first tab, I tried to explain it well hope you enjoy!
G D Cadd9 Em7 D?(not sure what the chord name is)
D--------3------2-------3---------3-----3----|
G--------3------3-------3---------3-----3----|
C---------------2-----------------------2----|
F-----------------------2---------2----------|
A--------2--------------3---------2----------|
D--------3------2----------------------------|
Basic strum pattern: G(down down, mute) D(down, mute)
Cadd9 (down down, mute) Em7(down down, mute)
Once your good enought then just start adding some up strums for some flavor
Intro: G D Cadd9 D
G D Cadd9 D
Verse: G D Em7 D
G D Em7 D
Cadd9 D G D
Cadd9 Cadd9 D
chorus: G D Cadd9 D
G D Cadd9 D
Em7 D Cadd9 D
G Cadd9 Cadd9 (pause for 1 or 2 seconds)
G D-------| Cadd9 D
A-------|
F-------|
C----h2-|
G--02---|
D-------|
For that last part of the chorus (after the pause) just strum each chord down twice but
the D give it four quick down strums no muting.
bridge and solo: it's the part where he sings(Don't you worry it's time to ask
well that parts a little tricky it's not the same strum pattern and theres some walkdowns but
are the chords
bridge: G(walkdown) Em7 D
G(Walkdown) Em7 D
Cadd9(walkdown) D
Solo: D Em7 G D D?
Em7 G D Cadd9(walkdown) D
Outro: G D Cadd9 D
G D Cadd9 D
G D Cadd9 D
G
This is how I think he does the walkdown on the G
Strum the G twice then
D----
A----
F----
C----
G----
D-320
The Cadd9 split it in 2 parts and just strum it out
down down up then down down up
D--3------------------3-|
A--3------------------3-|
F---------------------2-|
C-----------------------|
G--3--------------------|
D-----------------------|
the songs goes like
intro
verse
verse
chorus
verse
chorus
chorus2nd
bridge
solo
chorus
chorus
outro
There are a few little changes when it goes from chorus to chorus its just dont play the
after the pause just wait till the end of the 2nd chorus EXCEPT for the last chorus
after the solo don't play the pause part at all go straigth to the outro.
Peace!
