Tom McRae is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. He grew up in Suffolk, the son of an Anglican vicar. McRae sang in the choir. His mother played guitar and as a teen, he'd borrow it. He began writing songs at 15. At 18 he moved to London to study politics at London Guildhall University, soon forming bands and writing songs. A chance meeting with sound engineer Roger Bechirian led him to a working relationship that shaped McRae's soft-spoken sound and later landed him a deal with DB records.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
Tom's been listening to Cocteau Twins, it seems... can't be arsed to tab the second guitar so it's just this ridiculously easy stuff... Just watch the timing...
EAsus2 x 2
VERSE:
EAsus2E She says I know your face but something's strange in your eyes
EAsus2E Your voice I know so well, your words I don't recognise
EAsus2EAsus2 And darkness creeps, borne on cold winds, blows my footprints away
CHORUS:
E And I see myself turn into something else
Asus2E Turn into someone else for a while
E And I know I'm right running into this night
Asus2E Running another dream into the ground
And I can't hear a whole lot else going on so just repeat the whole gubbins with those two chords... over and over and over and over again...
