The White Buffalo is American musician and singer-songwriter Jake Smith (born in Oregon in 1974/1975, and raised in California).
The White Buffalo is said to be a throwback to the time of hard touring, hard drinking artists who really lived what they sang about. Everything about him is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range. He’s as comfortable playing in a dive bar as he is in front of thousands in a European arena.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

[Intro] Em, D, C, C, G, D, C, C, G, stop, G
[Verse 1] GC The moon lights up over the battlefield now, G With a blistering heat somehow D Lifeless, limp and broken hearts are dead, C I should have just stayed home instead G Stayed alive. G We'll letter arrives GC It glistens’ in mothers eyes G She wonders where when and why D She could have tucked him in his bed, C With a kiss on the cheek and his head G He'd stay alive
[Chorus] EmDCG Well the moon and the stars can't cast shadows on what is wrong DC Well our boys are dead, they’ve been mislead. G (stop) Nothing more GC The sun wakes up, bring sparkles in the morning light, GD Rubs her belly bows her head to cry, she lost him before they were wed CG But he’s there in her heart and her head, he’ll stay alive
[Chorus] x2 EmDCG Well the moon and the stars can't cast shadows of what is wrong DC Well our boys are dead, they’ve been mislead.
G (stop second time) Nothing more GC The moon lights up over the battlefield now.
