?????? (The Seatbelts) is a Japanese blues/jazz band led by composer and instrumentalist ????? (Yoko Kanno). Their style is very diverse and ranges from straightforward big-band jazz to more refined rock 'n roll and blues ballads.
Since most of the band's prolific output revolves around instrumental work, The Seatbelts have no de facto lead singer but Steve Conte (from The Contes and Crown Jewels) and ???? (Mai Yamane) have contributed to and sung for several tracks.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
EmGC#m(dim) C too much time has passed still dying from when we were in love the wind just keeps on blowing while my heart still cries one eye sees tomorrow the other sees yesterday i wish i could peacefully sleep in the cradle of your love again
EmA7C#m(dim) CB7 somebody cry for me somebody with dry eyes
EmB7GC#m(dim) C the real folk blues i only want to know what true sadness is sitting in a muddy river isn't such a bad life
B7A7B7 (Em) if it ends after the first time
despair laced with hope this chance with a bear trap set what is wrong and right is like two sides of a coin
i think that it is time that i finally die
the real folk blues i only want to know what true happiness is
cause all that glitters is not gold
love never dies, love never fails, love never ever fades away
the real folk blues i only want to know what true sadness is sitting in a muddy river isn't such a bad life
the real folk blues i only want to know what true happiness is
cause all that glitters is not gold
