Aidan Knight (born October 23, 1986, in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian songwriter and namesake for Canadian experimental folk band, Aidan Knight. Knight has also performed and recorded with The Zolas, Hannah Georgas, Dan Mangan, and We Are the City.
For some time, Aidan Knight was known as a helpful backing musician, playing everything from pop-rock bass lines to violent, pounding hardcore drums. All the while, he was writing songs of his own, recording in intensive three day bursts whenever he was able to raise enough money.

Aidan Knight - Jasper
Verse 1:
GC Came up to the water
Put my feet into it
Bathed my heels in Jasper G Felt the sand give an inch
GC All the people bathing
Teeth became connected
Smiling while we waded G Into the shallowness
Chorus:
G run EmCG Take me down to the water G run EmCG Fill you up with the deepest of sorrows G run EmCG That's my man, that's my brother G run EmCG Shine a light on my home
Verse 2:
GC Oh when I was frightened
When you put your face in
The mouth of the canyon G The murky water tide
GC What a relief to see
All your sins absolved
Without a washing cloth G Just the stillness of the night
