Kimberly Kay "Kim" Richey (born in 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio) is an American singer/songwriter. Though her work fits into the general country music category, her sound is not easily categorized. Her songs have been hits on both the country and pop charts. She has often been described as an Americana artist.
Her 1995 self-titled debut album provided her first country hit, "Just My Luck", as well as the follow-up "Those Words We Said". Her follow-up album, 1996's Bitter Sweet featured a more pop-oriented sound.

E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 The sun shines through my bedroom window like a long lost friend E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 And I can't describe how good it feels to see him back again
E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 [instrumental]
E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 If I were a tender poet, maybe I could speak E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 All those lines and perfect phrases just beyond my reach
ABEAABEE And I'd like to say what's in my heart, but I don't have the nerve E7sus4E7sus4E7E7E7sus4E7sus4E7E7 And I'd tell you that I love you, but I just can't find the words
Maybe I could paint a picture and let the colors show All I've been keeping to myself, yet want the world to know Or maybe I could write a letter and keep it short and sweet No greeting card-type sentiment, just what you mean to me
And I'd like to say what's in my heart, but I don't have the nerve And I'd tell you that I love you, but I just can't find the words
