Country-pop may have ruled the charts, but Kevin Fowler established himself impressively throughout Texas by making modest honky tonk-style country for regular folks. Raised in the West Texas town Amarillo, the guitarist began his musical career on both drums and piano. He left Texas at age 20 for the bright lights of Los Angeles, where he studied music at the Guitar Institute of Technology. He returned to Texas soon after and settled in Austin, where he joined the hard rock band Dangerous Toys.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Speak of the Devil
BC#EF# Heaven sent an angel to me to save me from life’s misery BC#E She seemed to fall right outta the sky F# I caught her here in my arms BC# Well life was pretty peachy things were really keen EF# All the sudden that ol‘ gal got mean BC# Her wings fell off she started turnin’ red EF# And that old broken halo fell right off of her head yeah…
(chorus)
BEF# Speak of the devil here she comes BEF# Yeah, she’s got this poor boy on the run BC# Oh, I swear she’s got horns and a tail EF# A pitchfork and a book of spells BEF#BC#EF# Speak of the devil here she comes, and here I go!
BC# Fallen angel fell from grace EF# They kicked her out of that heavenly place BC# She was a raisin’ hell and breakin’ all the rules EF# Tellin’ lies, breakin’ hearts, being mean and cruel BC# So now she’s down here on earth doin’ the devil’s dirty work EF# Stealin’ the soul of every man she can find BC# Sweet lips and pretty eyes oh they were a thin disguise EF# My little angel was a devil all along oh…
(repeat chorus)
E Here I go…Tryin’ to duck, tryin’ to dodge, tryin’ to shake her F# Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, I can’t escape her E She’s everywhere I go she knows my every move F#C# Oh I know I’m bound to loose
