Elastica were a Britpop band formed in London, England in 1992 and made up of: Justine Frischmann (vocals and guitar), Donna Matthews (guitar and vocals), Annie Holland (bass), and Justin Welch (drums). Later members included Shelia Chipperfield (bass), Dave Bush (keyboards), Paul Jones (guitar), and Sharon Mew (keyboards and vocals).
Their first single was 1993's "Stutter", which was a word-of-mouth hit largely due to the promotional efforts of Radio 1 DJ and Deceptive Records label boss Steve Lamacq.

Here's the words....
A Peaches and cream Where have you been ? DCA Did you know I've been waiting all night ? A Whose bed were you in ? Whose head were you turning ? DCA Don't you know I've been out of my mind DCA Cos I know what you fear you will find G Oh why... A Sweetness and light I don't wanna fight you DCA But I don't wanna listen to lies Your face is a mess You know you should drink less DCA I said I don't want to hear how time flies DCA Cos I know from the look in your eyes G You were talking to some girl A Who'd seen you on her T.V. set G She said she felt like she knew you A Although you'd only just met G Oh yeah... A Don't stop talking shop I'll see you down the time swap DCA I've been tested and tried Lost on the tide So cold inside DCA Do you know I've been out of my mind DCA Cos I know what you fear you will find G You were talking to some girl A Who said that she'd seen you before G Oh my head's such a mess A Till I hear your key in the door GA Oh yeah..., Oh yeah
