Bill Callahan (born 1966), also known as Smog and (Smog), is an American singer-songwriter born in Silver Spring, Maryland. Callahan began working in the lo-fi genre of underground rock, with home-made tape-albums recorded on four track tape recorders. Later he began releasing albums with the label Drag City, to which he remains signed today.
Callahan started out as a highly experimental artist, using substandard instruments and recording equipment.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
Please remove my previous version and replace it with this one. Some chords were wrong (it's Am7 instead of Em[2] and F instead of Dm[2]). I have also corrected the part, where he sings "My cattle bears it all away...".
Capo 2nd fret (all chords relative to capo) (1x) = 1 half of a measure (2x) = 2 halfs of a measure .
Em 022000 Am7 X02213 Am X02210 C X32010 C/B X22010 Dm XX0231 F XX3211
in the first part of the song he sometimes plays hammer-ons with some of the chord-notes: 000000 Em 022000
X00000 Am X02210 (listen to the song for the rhythm) __________________________________________
