By most accounts, George Jones (born George Glenn Jones September 12, 1931 in Saratoga, Texas, died April 26, 2013, in Nashville, Tennessee), was the finest vocalist in the recorded history of country music. Initially, he was a hardcore honky tonker in the tradition of Hank Williams, but over the course of his career he developed an affecting, nuanced ballad style. In the course of his career, he never left the top of the country charts, even as he suffered innumerable personal and professional difficulties.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

CFC Here I sit on the back row in a church down the street FC Not to far from the place where we used to meet C7F And to find me getting though to me you found someone to love G7C But I'll go back to the place that I keep thinking of
FC It's not a fancy place just a tavern in the lonely part of town G7C Where lonely people find someone that hopes to settle down FC They tell me to go and I can't understand G7C Here I sit on the back row while you wed another man
FC You'd never dream but after many years I may still be sitting there FC With just a bottle and two glasses right next to your favorite chair C7F All alone you might not give him and he might even tell you wrong G7C There I'll sit in a tavern waiting for you all alone
