[Intro] DCGD
[Verse 1] DCGD I walked ten thousand miles, ten thousand miles to see you. DCGD And every gasp of breath I grabbed it just to find you. DCGD I climbed up every hill to get to you. DCGD I wondered ancient lands to hold just you.
[Chorus] AmCGAm7C And every single step of the way, of pa-a-a-a-ain. GDCG Every single night and day I searched for you. DCGD Through sandstorms and hazy dawns I reached for you.
[Verse 2] DCGD I stole ten thousand pounds, ten thousand pounds to see you. DCGD I robbed convenient stores 'cause I thought they'd make it easier. DCGD I lived off rats and toads and I starved for you. DCGD I fought off giant bears and I killed them too.
[Chorus] AmCGAm7C And every single step of the way, of pa-a-a-a-ain. GDCG Every single night and day I searched for you. DCGD Through sandstorms and hazy dawns I reached for you.
DCGD I'm tired and I'm weak but I'm strong for you. DCGD I wanna' go home but my love gets me through. DCGD La-la la-la-la la-la-la la-la-la DCGD La-la la-la-la la-la-la la-la----la
DCGD
[Note] This is a chorded version of the song and may or may not work well for fingering to sound like the original. (I also tend to change the chord voicing so it's not so repetitive.)
