John Anderson nació en el Valle de cauca, Colombia, el 14 de octubre de 1982 dentro de una familia con un gran espíritu musical en la cual encontró el apoyo necesario para iniciarse en este mundo de tonadas e inspiración Recibió sus primeros conocimientos musicales de parte de su padre Harold Sanchez continuando sus estudios en diferentes academias de Palmira, su ciudad natal.
