DG You were born together and together ye shall be forever D Until death could scatter GGG/F#Em Shouldn't matter in the memory of God above G Let the wind of heaven dance between you two EmGADG Allowing time and space to bring you closer to everlasting love EmAD So what should you do if God moves through you?
DG When love beckons its ways are often hard and steep DGGG/F#Em And his wings unfold, ye yield to all that it speaks G Though a sword it might be hidden there among the pinions Em Oh you, may wear a wound that truly spoke to you GADG Believe in all that voice and follow through ,follow on EmAD So what should you do when God moves through you?
G Love possesses nothing EmD Nor would it ever be possessed GEm Love is love sufficient unto love D And you can figure out the rest
D Well, your children will not be your children G They are the daughters and sons of the beginning D They will come through your womb but not be coming from you GGG/F#Em They will be with you but they do not belong to you
You can give them your love but not your thoughts G 'Cause they'll arrive with their own hearts Em They're the coming of angels this blessed season GAD And then they'll sing oh how God rests in reason G God rests in reason EmADG Is it reason enough to prove how God moves through you? DG God rests in reason
Em And think not you can direct the course of GD Love itself directs the course of love EmG Believe not God is in your heart, child D But rather you're in the heart of God Em Believe it all Em Believe it all D Believe with every thing you've got G Say now God rests in reason D God rests in reason GD God rests in reason
