[Verse] EB Hermit crabs and cowry shells A Crush beneath his feet as he comes towards you EBA He's waving at you
EB Lift him up to see what you can see A He begins his focusing EBA He's aiming at you
EB And now he has cutaways from memories A And close-ups of anything that EB He has seen or even dreamed A And now he's finished focusing
EB He's imagining lightning A Striking sea sickness EBA Away from here
[Chorus] EG#AB Look who's laughing now that you've wasted EG#AB How many years and you've barely even tasted EG# Anything remotely close to AB Everything you've boasted about EG#AB Look who's crying now
[Verse] EB Driftwood floats, after years of erosion A Incoming tide touches roots to expose them, EB Quicksand steals my shoe, A Clouds bring the f-stop blues
(Chorus again, as above) Look who's laughing now that you've wasted How many years and you've barely even tasted Anything remotely close to Everything you've boasted about Look who's crying now
