GG/F# There’s no combi – nation of words EmD I could put on the back of a postcard, CC/B No song that I could sing. AmD But I could try for your heart and GG/F#EmD Our dreams, and they are made out of real things, CC/B Like a shoebox of photographs AmD With sepiatone loving. GG/F# Love is the answer, EmD At least for most of the questions in my heart, CC/BAm Like, “Why are we here?” and “Where do we go?” D And “How come it’s so hard?” GG/F# And it’s not always easy, EmD And sometimes life can be de – ceiving. CC/B I’ll tell you one thing, AmD It’s always better when we’re to – gether.
[Chorus]
CD Mm, it’s always better when we’re together. CD Yeah, we’ll look at the stars when we’re together. CD Well, it’s always better when we’re together. CD Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together.

G And all of these moments G/F#EmD Just might find their way into my dreams tonight, CC/B But I know that they’ll be gone AmD When the morning light sings GG/F# Or brings new things. EmD For to – morrow night you see CC/B That they’ll be gone too. AmD Too many things I have to do. GG/F# But if all of these dreams find their way EmD Into my day-to-day scene, CC/B I’d be under the impress – sion AmDG I was somewhere in between with only two, G/F# Just me and you. EmD Not so many things we got to do CC/B Or places we got to be. AmD We’ll sit be – neath the mango tree now.
[Chorus]
CD Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together. CD Mm, we’re somewhere in between together. CD Well, it’s always better when we’re together. CD Yeah, it’s always better when we’re together.
