Hayden is Paul Hayden Desser (born February 12, 1971), a Canadian singer-songwriter from Thornhill, Ontario. His early works are a largely eclectic mix of genres from grunge to alternative country, as demonstrated by his first full album, Everything I Long For, released in 1995. Afterthought: I've received a number of e-mails asking me where this song came from. It was on the CFNY 1993 New Music Search (back before it became the New Rock Search, which probably wouldn't include such un-rockish music). As I understand, much of the vocals were done by Noah from hHead, and the female vocals were by Hayden's oft referred to friend Lorraine.
