At least two artists have used the name "Genesis": 1. A British progessive rock band 2. A 60s psychedelic band from Los Angeles, California For the Colombian band, please see Génesis.
1. Genesis formed in 1967 in Godalming, Surrey (United Kingdom) and was one of the most popular progressive rock bands in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. During the 1970s, Peter Gabriel was the lead singer until his departure, when drummer Phil Collins stepped up to the mic and replaced him.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
Song: Invisible Touch Artist: Genesis Tabbed by: Prot Email: [email protected] Capo on 3rd fret
[Intro] Dsus4 x4 D G x3 A - 4 Times
[Verse 1] BmGDA Well I’ve been waiting, waiting here so long BmGDAE But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, ooh now I know EGDAD She has a built in ability GDAD To take everything she sees GA And now it seems I’m falling, falling for her.
[Chorus] Dsus4DGA She seems to have an invisible touch yeah Dsus4DGA She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart Dsus4DGA She seems to have an invisible touch yeah Dsus4DGA It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
[Verse 2] BmGDA Well I don’t really know her, I only know her name BmGDAE But she crawls under your skin, you’re never quite the same, and now I know EGDAD She’s got something you just can’t trust GDAD Its something mysterious GA And now it seems I’m falling, falling for her.
[Chorus] Dsus4DGA She seems to have an invisible touch yeah Dsus4DGA She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart Dsus4DGA She seems to have an invisible touch yeah Dsus4DGA It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
[Keyboard Interlude] (Play C straight through… Not perfect, but not horrible)
[Verse 3] BmGDA She don’t like losing, to her it’s still a game BmGDA And though she will mess up your life, You’ll want her just the same, E and now I know EGDAD She has a built in ability GDAD To take everything she sees GA And now it seems I’ve fallen, fallen for her.
[Final Chorus] This chorus is in a different key; with the capo still on 3rd, play the chorus like this the same strum pattern as before: AB e|-8-8-8-8--7-------------| B|-8-8-8-8--8---5-5-5--7--| G|-7-7-7-7--7---5-5-5--7--| D|--------------5-5-5--7--| A|------------------------| E|------------------------|
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart She seems to have an invisible touch yeah It takes control and slowly tears you apart… (Continues until end)
I know it doesn't sound perfect, and I GUARANTEE it's not accurate, but I hope it's good for most of you, and it's fairly easy to play this way with just a capo, and mediocre playing ability.
