Well i have seen few tabs for this wonderful song. but here is my attempt, which i think pretty close.
DFBb - A - A7
Everything is gone but the echoes from the burst of a shell
F#mFBbAA7 And i'm stuck here waiting for a passing feeling
DFBb - A - A7 in the city I built up and blew to hell
F#mFBbAA7 I'm stuck here waiting for a passing feeling
CAmD still I send all the time my request for relief
FC down a dead powerline though I'm beyond belief
AmD in the help I require just to exist at all
F (play Intro: D - F -Bb - A - A7) took a long time to stand took an hour to fall
F#mFBb - A - A7 I'm stuck here waiting for a passing feeling
Bridge Chords: DFBbAA7
F#mFBbAA7 stuck here waiting for a passing feeling
CAmD still I send all the time my request for relief
FC down a dead powerline though I'm beyond belief
AmD in the help I require just to exist at all
F took a long time to stand took an hour to fall
LEAD OUT CHORDS: C - C/B - Am - D (D7) - F (Fmaj7)
Note: As always listen to the song for timing. in the lead out it sounds much better to the normal chords with the chords in brackets for example a quick change from F to Fmaj7 back into the C sounds much better then the standard F to C change.
