------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU MAKE IT SEEM LIKE NOTHING - Elliott Smith ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Erik Silkensen Email: [email protected]
CDm I'm not used to coming through EF I'm more accustomed to a falling out CDm I'm trying hard now as I can for you EF Not to fuck up on some stupid doubt
CDm I got your hopes set way up high EF Way on up there where the air is thin CDm The limit's supposed to be the sky EF I'm trying not to let you down again
Chorus:
CGFC It's starting to come to me DmAmF I didn't know about, I hadn't figured it out CGFC But it's starting to come to me now DmAmF A little bit too late
Verse:
CDm I can't see anything you've done EF Any reason for the trouble you've got CDm You haven't hurt anyone EF Compared to most I'd say that's saying quite a lot
CDm I can't help you when you're sad EF That's a constant source of pain to me CDm Because I want to really bad EF Even though you make it seem like nothing
Chorus:
CGFC It's starting to come to me DmAmF I didn't know about, I hadn't figured it out CGFC But it's starting to come to me now DmAmF A little bit too late
