Butterfly Boucher (pronounced 'bow-cher' with a hard "ch" sound, unlike the French pronunciation) is an Adelaide, Australian singer/songwriter.
Boucher, born June 2, 1979, is the middle child of seven daughters. The name "Butterfly" was a suggestion from a friend of the family. Her mother didn't initially like the name but kept seeing butterflies in pictures, on clothing, etc. before the birth. In later years, Butterfly's sister had a band, The Mercy Bell, in which Butterfly played bass guitar.

BmEm I walk alone around the world A/F# Life's bitter sweet BmEm I am the girl at a table for one A/F# Content, complete Bm How many words in a pretty song? Bm/G How many ways can a girl go wrong?
Bm I don't mind the sound of one heart EmA/F# If the sun is out Bm I don't mind the sound at all EmA/F# Until the night comes round Bm And then how many doubts knocking at my door? Bm/G How many lives have I lived before?
ADG The night, it's the only lonely part, oh ADG Oh, but it's a lonely lonely part, oh
Bm I wake to find the daylight EmA/F# Sitting by my side Bm I breathe it in and whisper EmA/F# Everything I hide Bm Like how many tears in a long goodbye? Bm/G How many times can a girl defy?
ADG The night, it's the only lonely part, oh ADG Oh, but it's a lonely lonely part, oh ADG The night, it's the only lonely part, oh ADG Oh, but it's a lonely lonely part, oh
ADG The night, it's the only lonely part, oh ADG Oh, but it's a lonely lonely part, oh ADG It's the only lonely part, oh ADG The night, but it's a lonely lonely part, oh
