California, Here I Come
Al Jolson
Chorded by Alaina Musich

California Here I Come was the top rated song in 1924, and is mostly known by the chorus. The verses are a
little harder to pin down, and because of that, I only teach the Chorus to my classes until I'm ready to
move onto the verses. Usually we don't get that far, so I'm sticking to the chorus here.
I will edit to include the verses when I need to personally, or if requested.
This song is forgiving in that you don't necessarily need to include the Augmented and Diminished chords -
they fill out the song, but may be skipped, played normally, or as written, depending on your expertise.
Sticking to the basic chords for this song is completely fine.
