“Angel Eyes,” as found on “Miracle” by Willy DeVille (1987). Standard tuning. Found these chords on another
site linked to chords with a video. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find who put the chords together so not much
credit can be redirected to the people who put in the hard hours on this one. If I find out who you are, I’ll
be sure to update. I wanted a print version, so here we are.
In the Verse 2 I wasn’t sure if Knopfler (as credited for the guitar work on this song) was jumping to an F#
on the 3rd line between the B's, changing the root, changing the voicing. Same thing in the bridge on the 4th
line with the D#m at the beginning. Play it how you like, or if you know what that talent is doing, please
share. As always, constructive comments are appreciated.
I should add that I am a bassist and it sounds good to me. Some guitar players may find the voicing of the
chords to sound better, or just easier to play with the use of a capo on the 4th play it in G position.
