Wild Nothing is the solo project of Virginia-born Jack Tatum. Tatum began recording under the moniker Wild Nothing in the summer of 2009 in Blacksburg, Virginia. Upon gathering attention in indie music circles, he was signed with the Captured Tracks record label and began touring with a band. His debut full-length, "Gemini," was released in spring 2010 to acclaim from Pitchfork Media and the music editors at Amazon.com. A follow-up album called "Nocturne" was released in 2012.

Note: These are the chords as I hear them, and I am sure most of them are correct. The lyrics, however, are wild guesses. The song is in D major, so if you want to add additional stuff, do it accordingly.
Intro: BmADGADGG (x2)
Verse 1: BmADG Sitting on the cigarette butt front porch ADG I could ask you are "you dead like me?" BmADG Call me what you will but call me again ADG it's true I don't talk too much
Chorus: AD Because our lips won't last forever Bm and that's exactly why GA I'd rather live in dreams G and I'd rather die (x2)
(Interlude) (play the intro again)
Verse 2: (same chords as Verse 1) Pretty face could you make the drive with me
I'm dying just to let things go

It was the first time that I really felt you

(Outro) BmADG (x2)
