The Smalls have their origins in the small rural towns of Alberta. Vocalist Mike Caldwell and bassist Corby Lund are from the town of Taber, while guitarist Dug Bevans is from Leduc just south of Edmonton and Drummer Terry Johnson is from the northern Alberta town of La Glace.
"...being rural people has an effect on the music, it gives it a different vibe..."
The four then ended up at Grant MacEwan Communtiy College in Edmonton, Alberta, where Mike, Corby and Terry were taking classes in music, and Dug was taking art courses.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
