The New Pornographers are a Canadian indie rock group formed in 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their sound is influenced by that of such power pop bands as The Cars and Cheap Trick, but they use much more sophisticated rhythms and chord changes. Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
I don't know about the "who's gonna star the sunshine" bridge. On the album, all I can hear after the first A chord, are bass notes. Live, it looks like they're playing some kind of chords I can't pick out, but I've tried at the bottom. I think playing power chords with the bass roots works. I tried to make up chords out of the harmonies, but I'm not getting it and I'm tired. Why hasn't someone already done this for me? Sometimes you want to just play a song and there's no tab out there...
Maybe they're playing this live? I can hear the high b.
