The Mission (known as The Mission UK in the United States due to a naming clash with a Philadelphia R&B band) is a goth band formed in 1986 in Leeds, England from the splinters of the freshly-dissolved goth band The Sisters of Mercy.
The band's original lineup consisted of Wayne Hussey (vocals, guitar), Craig Adams (bass), Simon Hinckler (guitar) and Mick Brown (drums). Hussey and Adams were formerly members of The Sisters of Mercy, Mick Brown was a former member of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and Hickler was a former member of Artery and Pulp.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
(Remark: On the low E-string, I use the little finger for the "3" note, and the thumb for the "2" and "1". I also find the "4" note quite difficult to reach, so usually I play that as a "0".)

AmGDF There's tears in my eyes, 'cause we're an ocean apart
AmG There's nothing quite as real as being on my own,
DF Nothing quite as true as being all alone
AmF This bird has flown,
DF But when the summer has passed, she'll come back home
CG Love, come wing your way,
EmF Sweet bird of passage, come home to stay
CG Love, come wing your way,
EmF Sweet bird of passage, come home to lay with me, me,
