The Lucksmiths were an influential indie pop band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1993. The members are Martin Donald (Guitar), Taliesyn 'Tali' White (Vocals, Drums), and Mark Monnone (Bass) and in 2004 they acquired Mid State Orange's guitarist Louis Richter on second guitar. Whilst originating from beach-side Melbourne, the original three members of The Lucksmiths moved to inner Melbourne and fell in love with its charms. The songs Under the Rotunda, The Cassingle Revival and Tmrw Vs Y'Day all demonstrate as much.

D Today of all Days You Decided Dmaj7 That you'd drop in uninvited Bm You were ever so excited G You were never so in love D This time it's requited Dmaj7 If I looked less than delighted Bm I was trying hard to hide it G But not trying hard enough EmADBm Doo Doo DooDoo, Doo Doo DooDoo Doo EmG Doo Doo DooDoo Doo
D That's fantastic, that's sarcastic Dmaj7 But forgive me the theatrics Bm I've been catching up on classics G And the springtime's been and gone D And I didn't see the dangers Dmaj7 In hoping nothing ever changes Bm Till' we said goodbye like strangers G For the first time in so long AA7 So Long
