Biography:
The Cleaners From Venus were a jangle-pop band led by Martin Newell and Giles Smith in the 1980s. Most of their work was released on cassette only, but a few CD collections (including Living With Victoria Grey: The Very Best of the Cleaners From Venus) have been released. Captain Sensible briefly played bass in the group.
