Biography:
Steven Wilson (born Steven John Wilson on November 3, 1967, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, most closely associated with the progressive rock genre. Currently a solo artist, he became known as the founder, lead guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands.
Wilson is self-taught as a producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter.

Hey guys, these are the chords to the new Steven Wilson song Permanating. I checked the chords on the piano
and they seem correct. I will try and provide some performance guidelines where needed. The song is in the
key of Eb major, and while I thought of suggesting dropping the guitar by a half step the Chorus modulation
would then be really awkward to play so it's better in standard tuning (note that the song is piano oriented).

Note: There is a descending bass line (c, b, a, g#, g, f#, f, e) but some chords are just not comfortable to
play on a guitar so adjust your voicings accordingly. I usually dodge the f# and f but sometimes manage to
play them. Also the Am/G# is weird and I might be wrong about it, cause it seems to imply a C augumented chord
but on the piano it sounds alright if you just keep playing Am with your right hand and move the bass to G#.

This bit is played a few times throughout the song. First time there is no bass note but later when it appears
as the bridge, solo backing and outro the bass note is C (you can play it on 10th fret of the D string for a
good effect). It repeats 3 times during the intro.
