Biography:
La creación de Starship viene desde 1965, debido a cambios o de los integrantes el grupo ha venido tomando diversos nombres, como Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, Starship y "Jefferson Starship - The Next Generation" en 1991.
El fundador del grupo Jefferson Airplane fue el cantante Marty Balin, que había hecho una carrera de menor importancia como cantante a principios de los años 60 y había hecho varias grabaciones bajo su propio nombre.
