Lucy Kaplansky Texas Blues written by Bill Morrissey
Shawn Colvin harmony
D Never been so lonesome Em Never been so blue G It's midnight on the highway D I'm coming back to you D Stuck in Ozona Texas Em Out on highway 10 G I'm going to Arizona D To win you back again D Last time I saw you Em Your voice was cold as ice G And you spoke of some old lover D Like a lonsesome paradise D Now I'm standing on the highway Em And the only light I see G Is just a cold and heartless moon D Shining down on me D Never been so lonesome Em Never been so blue G It's midnight on the highway D I'm coming back for you
