Robyn Raymond Hitchcock (born 3rd March 1953) is an English singer-songwriter and psych folk guitarist. While primarily a vocalist and guitarist, he also plays harmonica, piano, and bass guitar. Many of Hitchcock's album covers bear his paintings or drawings, and his albums' liner notes sometimes include a printed short story. His live concerts usually include a considerable amount of story-telling, imaginative and surreal ad-libbed monologues in his lyrical style.

GCG CG Maybe tonight you're aching CAC For someone you're dreaming of ADC Wait till the dawn is breaking ADC Into the arms of love
Maybe tonight you're crying Like a poor wounded dove Tomorrow you'll be flying Into the arms of love
Maybe tonight you're falling For someone you don't know enough Tell me you'll soon be crawling Into the arms of love
Maybe your world is fading It wasn't strong enough Through all the dirt you're wading Into the arms of love
