Tuning: standard
Am In my blakean year CAm i was so disposed Am toward a mission yet unclear CAm advancing pole by pole DmAm fortune breathed into my ear EAm mouthed a simple ode DmAm one road is paved in gold EAm one road is just a road Am in my blakean year CAm such a woeful schism Am the pain of our existence CAm was not as i envisioned DmAm boots that trudged from trac to track EAm worn down to the sole DmAm one road is paved in gold EAm one road is just a road DmAm boots that trudged from track to track EAm worn down to the sole DmAm one road is paved in gold EAm one road is just a road Am in my blakean year CAm temptation but a hiss Am just a shallow spear EAm robed in cowardice EAm brace yourself for bitter flack EAm for a life sublime EAm a labyrinth of riches EAm never shall unwind EAm the threads that bind the pilgrim's sack EAm are stitched into the blakean back DmAm so throw off your stupid cloak EAm embrace all that you fear
for joy shall conquer all despair EAm in my blakean year
