Owen is a solo project of musician Mike Kinsella. Kinsella is one of the dominant figures in the Chicago indie scene, having also led the band American Football, and played in the bands Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc and Owls. He also plays drums for the trio Their / They're / There. Owen is known for its soft melodies, sparse playing and plaintive vocals.
He has released the following full-length albums: 'Owen' (2001) 'No Good for No One Now' (2002) 'I Do Perceive.' (2004)
