THAT'LL BE THE DAY (Buddy Holly, Norman Petty, Jerry Alison) ------------------------------------------------------------ [Unfortunately, I only have a recording of the Linda Ronstadt version of this song. But from a book in the library, I learned that Holly's original version used these chords with a capo on the fifth fret, so it was actually in A. Ronstadt's is in F, so use a capo on the first fret.]
[Holly's version also includes this easy and cool riff:] |--------0-----0-----0---|-----h2---2-------------| |----------0-----0-----0-|----------0-------------| |----3/4-----3-----2-----|1---0h2---2-------------| |------------------------|2---0h1---1-------------| |------------------------|2---0h2---2-------------| |------------------------|------------------------| ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
