[Intro] DAGDAG
BmAG We can go somewhere where you gotta get all dressed up DAG Or throw on some jeans and go somewhere and get messed up BmAG Gotta be something we can get into downtown DAG Oh, one of them nights when the neon lights never go down
[Chorus] DA We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us GA Take a ride out there where the stars look a little more crowded BmAG Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah EmG We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere ADBmG A little closer to nowhere
BmAG We can park on a hill and roll it on down to the riverside DAG Sit and watch the moon shine on the water like a streetlight BmAG We can top off the tank and head on down some highway DAG Or boy we can get just as lost here in this driveway
[Chorus] DA We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us GA Take a ride out there where the stars look a little more crowded BmAG Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah EmG We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere AG A little closer to nowhere
[Bridge] D No crowd, no traffic, where all we're getting is radio static G Anywhere you wanna go, anywhere we're here alone ---
DA Someplace where the stars look a little more crowded GA Come on now, tell me what you think a- bout, yeah EmG We can go anywhere 'long as it's somewhere DAGDAG A little closer to nowhere, a little closer to nowhere
[Outro] DAG We can go someplace where there ain't nobody a- round us DAG A little closer to nowhere
