Chorus: GAD And now I wish I was somewhere other than here GAEA Down in some honky tonk, sippin' on a beer GAD Yes I wish I was somewhere other than here GD Cause that great fillin' station holdup AD Cost me two good years
D We got fifteen dollars GD And a can of STP EA A big ole jar of cashew nuts and a Japanese TV GD Feelin' we had pulled the biggest heist of our career DD We're wanted men, we'll strike again, AD But first let's have a beer
GAD And now I wish I was somewhere other than here GAEA Down in some honky tonk, sippin' on a beer GAD Yes I wish I was somewhere other than here GD Cause that great fillin' station holdup AD Cost me two good years
D We were sittin' in the Krystal GD About as drunk as we could be G In walked the deputy sheriff EA And he's holdin' our TV GD He roughed us and he cuffed us DG And he took us off to jail DAD No picture on a poster, no reward and no bail
(repeat chorus and fade) GAD And now I wish I was somewhere other than here GAEA Down in some honky tonk, sippin' on a beer GAD Yes I wish I was somewhere other than here GD Cause that great fillin' station holdup AD Cost me two good years
