1) Goldfinger is a ska punk band formed in 1993 and named after the James Bond film. They were founded in California by John Feldmann on vocals and guitar, Simon Williams on bass, "Dangerous" Darrin Pfeiffer on drums, and Charlie Paulson on guitar.
Before they were signed to a major label, they released an EP titled Richter. Many of the songs on Richter are demo versions of songs on their full length debut, Goldfinger, which was released in 1996.

Goldfinger - San Simeon (from Stomping Ground album) Transcribed by Justin Goldner, 3/24/00 [email protected]
Standard E Tuning
Hah! The first tab from their new CD, Stomping Ground, before it even comes out! (Four days) The CD's pretty good, this is probably the softest song on it (no ska this time). Real simple, like six chords, sometimes barred sometimes just power chords.
E---7-----4-----2-----7--- } A slightly different B---9-----5-----2-----7--- } version of the chorus. G---9-----6-----2-----8--- } The first 2 times bar, D---9-----6-----4-----9--- } play power chords the rest of A---7--6--4-----4-----9--- } the time. Also includes the 1st E------------7--2-----7--- } part of the last chorus
Verse-
E------------------------------- } B------------------------------- } 3rd time the last G---7-----------7--------------- } chord is repeated D---7--7--9--5--7--7--9--5--7--- } another measure A---5--7--9--5--5--7--9--5--7--- } E------5--7--3-----5--7--3--5--- }
Chorus-
E-------------------------- } The last time B---9-----5-----2-----7---- } play the full bar chords for G---9-----6-----2-----8---- } the Hawaiian effect, just D---9-----6-----4-----9---- } play power chords the rest of A---7-(6)-4-----4-----9---- } the time. Trickle down if you E-----------(7)-2-----7---- } want, I don't think they do.
Not much of a tab, but the songs catchy so whatever. Next I'll probably do some other songs from their new album, You Think It's A Joke, Forgiveness and Pick A Fight all sound good. Personally, I think San Simeon would be a good live song because there's so much room for improv crap. Whatever, here's how they play it, comments, questions, corrections: [email protected]
