Gene Clark, born Harold Eugene Clark (born Tipton, Missouri, November 17, 1944[1] - May 24, 1991) was an American singer-songwriter, and one of the founding members of the folk-rock group The Byrds.
Gene Clark is best remembered for being The Byrds main songwriter between 1964 and 1966. He created a large catalogue of music in several genres but failed to achieve solo commercial success. Clark was one of the earliest exponents of psychedelic rock, baroque pop, newgrass, country rock and alternative country.

DBm On the corner there are letters that illuminate the night to a glare DBm On the streets are many faces all just looking for a place called somewhere GEmBmF#m From the signs brightly flashing so they're ultimately clashing the a-a-air BmGBmG To a long time, love is such a long time Grinnin' words linked with changes leading far beyond the last unaware Attitudes to deal with strangers and the dangers in the longing to care From the information vendor and rich educated splendour they stare To a long time, love is such a long time
D Such a long time, such a long time
From the moment which is timeless and the fact there is so much we can share To a long time, love is such a long time BmG Love is such a long time.
Ps: Sure this is only a Gene Clark written song for the band Rose Garden
