Gene Clark, born Harold Eugene Clark (born Tipton, Missouri, November 17, 1944[1] - May 24, 1991) was an American singer-songwriter, and one of the founding members of the folk-rock group The Byrds.
Gene Clark is best remembered for being The Byrds main songwriter between 1964 and 1966. He created a large catalogue of music in several genres but failed to achieve solo commercial success. written by Gene Clark
EABE Somewhere in passage of morning to night ABE Figures fade into the wind EABE Delighted in trials and purposely exiled ABE Trying to trade the day for the night EABE Shades of evening purple empty space ABE Where everybody dreams like there all true EABE Shadows of morning curtains of twilight ABE Trying to trade the day for the night EA Deep misunderstandings BE Have echoed through the years AB Judge and you will be judged E Wrong or right EA I wonder why she still BE Stands there her face in tears ABE Trying to trade the day for the night
SOLO
EABE Regiments of our lives and tigers silver stripes ABE Can't pass each other without taking life EABE Believe me I have seen the last fine bird in flight ABE Trying to trade the day for the night ABE Trying to trade the day for the night
