Dr. Dog is a indie rock group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which formed in 1999. The current lineup consists of Scott "Taxi" McMicken (vocals, guitar), Toby "Tables" Leaman (vocals, bass), Zach "Text" Miller (keyboards, guitar), Frank "Thanks" McElroy (guitar) and Eric "Teach" Slick (drums).
"There's a little folk, blues, indie rock, soul, bluegrass--and a whole lot of down-home harmonizing. It conjures images of old friends sitting on a porch swapping instruments and just letting the tape recorder run." - Doug Wallen

D Well something broke A That I can't seem to mend DA Cause somethings break, before they bend EA I hope theres love at the end of your day, to take you away
A When you tell a lie F#m Can you look in the mirror and see it in your eye D Who do you fool with the things that ya' hide A /D /C#E Is it for your sake or mine
A Well, I can't wear your shoes F#m No, they just wouldn't fit, I've got too much to lose D By walking so fast when you can't pick and choose A /D/C#E The people you walk on
A Well, I know an old man F#m And I know your face like the back of my hand D And I hope that maybe you will understand A /D/C#EA That I dont know who you are anymore, anymore
