G In that room did you care Bm I never knew anyone who stared at me EmC Quite like the way your staring at me now G And if all these empty words you speak Bm Could change the boy who's at your feet EmC I think you need not look farther than your arms
AmEm Cause I'll never change AmEm And you'll stay the same AmEm And I'll never change
DCEm x2
G If I could change the boy at my feet Bm To a man who didn't have to speak EmC I wouldn't have to use my arms to measure G Something about the room that day Bm And how I knew I'd go away Em How all I can do is stare at you C And think what I'm about to do
AmEm Cause I'll never change AmEm And you'll stay the same AmEm And I'll never change
DCEm x2
GBmEmC x2
G I stared at the light too long Bm And I did everything to keep from falling Em When all is said and done C Do you think it was worth it G Patterns move across the floor Bm And it just doesn't feel the same I'm sorry Em When all is said and done C I think it was worth it
AmEm Cause I'll never change AmEm And you'll stay the same AmEm And I'll never change
