Deep Purple is an English hard rock band that formed in Hertfordshire in 1968. They're regarded as pioneers of the popular music genre of heavy metal along such acts as Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. Ian Gillan's singing and Ritchie Blackmore's playing approach proved to be influential to many rock bands of 1970s and 1980s (including but not limited to Rob Halford of "Judas Priest" and Brian May of "Queen"). Damn! I just realized that I don't have a record with this song any more so I couldn't check the chords against the recorded version. Anyway, this is what I could recover from my notes from some 15 years ago when I last tried playing that song. Hope this helps... _____ Kim H|glund, [email protected], CS Dept. at U of Copenhagen, Denmark "I've got plenty of common sense. I just choose to ignore it." -- Calvin
