Death in June are a neofolk group led by UK musician Douglas Pearce. Although originally a post-punk band, they are credited with the initial development of neofolk music along with Current 93 and Sol Invictus.
Death in June emerged in 1981, reuniting singer/multi-instrumentalist Douglas P. and bassist Tony Wakeford; drummer Patrick Leagas completed the original lineup, which made its live debut late the following year with an opening slot for the Birthday Party.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm Like jackals howling, Like flowers unfolding
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm The banners in tatters, The virgin is blessed
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm As if seeking there, Hope's bloody prey
CAmD The dead dog sinking, turning and turning
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm The bodies collapsed, Swollen with gas
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm In the hovels and gutters, Her face to the storm
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm Still broken, still bleeding, The Crack of the neck
CAmD The gut shriek of thunder, The blood call of lightning
AmDAC She said destroy in black New York... (x3)
AmDA She said destroy in black...
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm Like jackals howling, Like flowers unfolding
EmAmEmAm Into that darkness, Into that darkness
CAmCAm The virgin has blessed, The call of the beast
