The lead singer of punk band The Loved Ones. In January 2011, he released his debut solo album, 'Resolutions', through Paper + Plastick records - touring extensively to promote it. A statement from the label, quoted on punknews.org, described the record's origins:
"While writing the follow-up to the last Loved Ones release (2009's Distractions, Fat Wreck Chords), Hause was writing songs that didn't seem like they would fit on a Loved Ones record.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

DbDbsus4Db DbDbsus4Db DbDbsus4Db DbDbsus4Db
VERSE: Db I caught the fever when she went down slow
California sun had turned to indigo F# Lip biting tension on the patio ADb Her carnivore fingers in my bag of blow
Db Vacation goggles Montecito sky
She wakes up and dazzles even when she's fried F# She gave herself free I barely had to try ADb A longing that neither of us could satisfy
Ab That kiss F# That kiss goodbye DbDb I left feeling free
(Palm muting) Ab
VERSE: Db Jungle life is savage when you're always stoned
So, I'd warm myself to her voice on the telephone F# She made her way under my skin I should've known ADb Girls like her ain't ok just being alone
Db Fear is like a self fulfilling prophecy
So I warned her
She could always count on me to leave F# That line about you can't have what you want "it's free" ADb And how I need to sail out on the sickening sea
Ab I kissed F# I kissed her strong DbDb Felt it in my knees
CHORUS: AbF# She said "Well boy what if you're wrong?" DbDb "You could stay right here with me"
AbF#Db I said I am my father's son AbF#Db It's a fate I can't outrun Ab While you lie in wait, F# I'll medicate DbAb Then devour you just for fun F#Db Cause I am my father's son

INSTRUMENTAL: DbDbF#AAb
VERSE: Db Well another couple visits and my grip had slipped
I get weak little knees when the script gets flipped F# Lonely is an ocean I never learned to swim ADb Club feet won't evolve, I could use some fins
Db Sentimental fool with a stitched up heart
I tried to impress her with my stagnant art F# My common ugly tunings and a poison pen ADb Maybe I could one day learn to just say when
VERSE: Db But she said "love is about what you're down to do,
It's not a stack of verses and it's not a tattoo. F# You'll never wake up feeling like you've just been used A And it's got no time Db for self abuse,
Ab So let's kiss F# Let's kiss goodbye DbDb And you can go on feeling free
