I say Dm9 or F because imo they sound the same, whatever floats your boat, and listen to the song for strumming rhythm - shouldn't be too hard.
- Also the end of intro Dm7+Em7 can be changed to an F and G chord with the same open shape that I wrote above (no barre) - easier to play
FCmaj7 My day is well into the afternoon FCmaj7 And nothing's going right F The weeks are flying past Cmaj7 I'm in over my head FF or(G) Cmaj7 And I can't get you off my mind
FCmaj7 It was the night I chose my favourite dress FCmaj7 And you were wearing your best suit FCmaj7 It was about that time when everyone was sound asleep FF or GCmaj7 And I was up talking to you
Break - mute strum a few times
Chorus: - fingerpick F + Cmaj7 to get the keyboard/synth notes during chorus
Dm9Cmaj7F No one told me the right way to fall FCmaj7 To fall deep in love Dm9Cmaj7 But you held my heart in the right ways FGCmaj7 Just like a gentleman
-- Play intro part again for Instrumental break --
FCmaj7 And it's so easy to get back to you FCmaj7 And harder to get by FCmaj7 Cause there's just something about the way you say my name FCmaj7 Softly through the telephone lines
Ooooh
Chorus x2
Dm9Cmaj7F No one told me the right way to fall FCmaj7 To fall deep in love Dm9Cmaj7 But you held my heart in the right ways FGCmaj7 Just like a gentleman

End
Note: Played with 2 guitar tracks or more, 1 rhythm and 1 lead/adlibs - might tab out the adlibs if people need them
