Chris Hillman Tomorrow Is A Long Time written by Bob Dylan
EAE If today was not an endless highway AE If tonight was not a crooked trail AB7E If tomorrow wasn?t such a long time AB7E Then lonesome would mean nothing to you at all EAE I can see my reflection in the waters EAE I can speak the sounds that show no pain EAB7E I can?t hear the echo of my footsteps EAB7E And I can?t remember the sound of my own name AB7E Ah but only if my own true love was waitin AB7E I could hear her heart softly poundin AB7EAB7E Only if she was lyin? by me then I?d lie in my bed once again.
SOLO
EAE There?s beauty in the silver, singin? river; EAE There?s beauty in the sunrise in the sky; EAB7E But none of these, and nothing else can touch the beauty AB7E That I remember in my true love?s eyes AB7E Ah but only if my own true love was waitin AB7E I could hear her heart softly poundin AB7EAB7E Only if she was lyin? by me then I?d lie in my bed once again.
