Lyricist Norman Gimbel and composer, arranger Charles Fox are American songwriters most productive in the 70s. They have worked together on many TV theme songs, including Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days, Angie, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Wonder Woman, the Emmy-winning theme for The Paper Chase, and the song score for Pufnstuf, the 1970 film version of the 1969–71 Saturday-morning cult children's series H.R. Pufnstuf.
They also written the Grammy Award winning "Killing Me Softly With His Song" (1974) as performed by Roberta Flack.
